at the beginning of the production. the first draft of scripts had a suggestive season 3.
but while season two was at the process of production all things changed.
there were many reasons to end it here.
yes, this is our last season. fin. no more season 3.

it's not that we are running out of stories. but i guess all good things just have to come to an end.

of cuz being in this production was one of the best thing that happened to any of our lifes.
we were like family. 3 years.
haha.

with keong running around like a kid.

yee i-lann setting the colour schemes, rooms etc from the movie onwards.

and with season 2 gwo yunn giving new colors to the characters.

with susan and her endless hair extension for Mia.

where Bernard would say "One take Wonder!!!" and "We'll make it work" whenever there's a wardrobe malfunction.

where Joanna would yell "TIME CHECK!!!"... and now "NO BUDGET"

where Peng will make us our "leong char" during the movie

where Enid will say "NO" to my splurge on food

where Abang Zol will say "PUTUS" on audio

where Angie will just give me the... "i don't care" look...

where Lina will say "OK" to almost all my horror demands... LOL!!!

gosh too many memories...

the entire team of Gol & Gincu wishes to THANK YOU!

Berlin was a fun adventure for me. i was asked to model and then there's trouble with the brand's collection, shipment only arrived 2 days before our fashion show so was a little erm... tense. then when everything was done... the internet... the free neighbour internet access was suddenly no longer free... HAIYA!

(i guess he realised why his connection is sooooo slow suddenly... HAHA)

well you don't get to see me do the runway cuz it's impossible to snap the picture and walk on the runway. and i was too ego to ask for the pictures. HAHA.

omg. i can't believe it, i missed another episode!!! went to have a wrap party dinner with Team Impian Illyana and time just past by like mad. i didn't even noticed it until Lina Tan said it's time to go back to catch G&G and the time was already 10.30!!! gosh. anyways... because of that... i have decided to change the last tshirt round a little bit...

script turns reality

hey y'all,

sorry for not posting earlier. got back, rushed for a camp, came back and felt sick. i'm still having fever and all, none-the-less life goes on right.

i've basically missed 4 episodes. and no just because we film it and i worked at red communications doesn't mean i get to see it before hand. i don't. the first air time is my first chance of seeing it too like everyone else (except maybe the editors, producers and directors, they probably saw it for more than 20 times de). anyways so like i said i missed 4 epsidoes and it's been close to 3 weeks that we wrapped (it feels sooooo long ago!!!).

ok ok i'm mumbling crap.

the point is... i am LATE in posting this... probably. haha.
(i know i'm going to get sounding after this post is up...)

a little facts about last season... one of the reason why we didn't kill ayu last season, was... when most of the scripts was written, some of the plots came into a reality or was a reality to the cast in actual life. so we didn't want anything bad happening to any of the cast.
e.g... J had those childhood marriage plan from her parents... Fasha has it in reality... same case senario... the script writers don't know about it before hand. they wrote it and when the cast read the script that's when they said "OMG". no joke. there's plenty more but i'll leave that to your imagination. BUT NO Pierre Andre has no AIDS. touch wood.

and as you can see in this video... shasha almost... ALMOST got knocked by the car. and no we didn't plan for that car to come, it wasn't the "stunt car" (if we ever had one...) that was a passer by's car... and like i said... ALMOST knocked her... damn freaky...

if she did... she would have looked like this.

but this pesakit a bit weird one. can still laugh.

SORRY peps, been busy running around clearing stuffs etc.

on the 06/08 marked my last day on set. ;o)
so this past few days i've been clearing all the stuffs
passing down the garments to the in-house crew to handle etc

so a bit gila la my schedule
~~then i malas to move, just stay still on set~~
and i've to teach catwalk tomorrow... OMG!

anyways just a quick flaunt-flaunt moment before i fly off...
(yes i will try to update when i'm there but hard to say, impian illyana's team has been complaining so much that there's no tshirts for them, so now i've to design one from what michelle has already made... FYI michelle is my assistant on the impian illyana's set... anyways i'm like rushing that out as well when i'm at HK)

we were actually at some big shot's house shooting this scene... hehe.

i don't care what people say about adibah noor, i just like her. i truly think she's one larger-than-life amazingly talented woman!

and boy did we have fun having her on set... i mean like... so far... none of the group picture we took was with a guest artist...
(oh boy~ yang lain guest artist kalau tersempak blog in and terbaca in... jangan terasa ya... you know we hearts you too)
she just had such fun energy on set.

mad evening walk

harris hue otherwise known as keong who is the D.O.P (director of photography) of gol & gincu made a horrible suggestion that everyone was required to go for a evening stroll on one of the days when we had to wait for a set up... so we all did after being paksa by bernard as well and being a super camwhore crew... we couldn't hesitate to SNAP a group picture. ;o)

gosh i have not packed a single thing for my trip yet!

i leave the production officially this coming 06/08/07.

we'll officially wrap the entire series on the 10/08/07.
where i'll touch down in hong kong simultaneously when that happens.

this is my first production i don't get to yell/hear the word WRAP.
sighs.

but then again i'm in hong kong. HAHA.

last week was Reza's (pierre) last shooting day.

to be exact it was the 10/08/07

being the ever busy actor plus director plus script writer... we all had to accomodate his mad schedule.
(he has a new movie schedule to release this coming September... i think... LOLs)
(he's soooo dedicated with his work. like SERIOUSLY. so support him ya!)

last week after the last scene we were suddenly asked to gather outside of sportsplanet... 4am in the bloody morning... i was busy munching my supper... then Enid... the P.A. (production assistant) was telling me to stop eating... i was like... HUH? fine. whatever. but a little HMMM attitude... i was thinking... OHHHH got better food ah? LOLs...

the very innocent victims... they had no idea what was installed for them...

the culprit... WAN... see that GREEN BULAT guy... he's holding the ultimate disgusting toy ever! FLOUR!

the second the flour hit them... screams were heard... everyone else (the crews) had flour! and i was like... OMG MY CLOTHES!!!

no wonder i wasn't informed... they know i would have screamed even before they could PLAY this game!

so they ran here and there... the entire sportsplanet... chasing pierre, fazura, sazzy, celina, rafidah, ah toi, zarina, etc etc etc... i didn't count cuz i was busy running away from the crews!!!
(ah and to think we are making them a thank you t-shirt!... i better make them a thank you t-SHIT now!)

see... flour everywhere... and i heard someone had EGGS!!! i was like... OMG... i'm going to kill him/her!

THANK GOD Faz & Myself was FAST!!! we are like soooo CLEAN!

i was so busy ~~sleeping on putri's bed~~ reading scripts on putri's bed... so bernard said "OH GOOD IDEA..." then we all went for a walk...

Press Conference

It's now 2.30am. We just finished one of the season's most HUGE set up scene... like it required us making and folding lots of paper thingy that you'll see in one of the episodes... it involves FOLDING PAPERS ok... SO look out for it... them...

Anyways as it's no fun showing what we do/done on set so soon (cuz I don't want to reveal too MUCH!), I've decided to show off the press conference thingy instead (cuz that's the only thing I can show at the moment... HAHAHA)... but not much la... I was busy drinking and day dreaming on the press conference day (like I'm not the focus WHAT! so I can SLEEP~la!)... and I'm like dead tired now. Got sooo much more scenes to do ~~tomorrow~~ later today...
~~and a HORRIBLE email I've to reply to one of the EP... SHE ASKED ME LAME QUESTIONS!!!~~

The press conferences happened sometime last month? Maybe it was this month... Well I don't remember... time is like... soooo messed up for me right now... anyhow it was at Poppy. I think. HAHA. SORRY~la damn sleepy can! Erm... that's all I can remember. HAHA.
Was sooo fast~loh, everything happend like POOP. POP. POOPP. DONE... YAY!

Ok la... was a quick intro of the series to the press memebers (well some people still don't know us... and some are like new in media~ma) then the cast members... they then came out one by one... and yada yada... the rest is history... I told you nothing happened! So boring~kan this story...

Episode Zero

Gosh. It's been a pretty hectic month. We are behind schedule. *as usual* So all of us, including the cast, crew, post production team are like trying to finish our shoots and edits before the due date... Thus we have been working round the clock. Sometimes even shooting for more than 13 hours. A quick nap, back to another 7 hours shoots...

It's just been crazy.

None-the-less... we are finally OFFICIALLY... back.

So the TMO was our episode Zero and this coming Sunday is like the first episode. So STAY TUNE kay! We are only counting on the fans to even finish what we started! LIKE SO SERIOUSLY! Evertime we break down we think about OMG our fans are like hoping for a second season... WE MUST MAKE IT WORK! *gosh you know we hearts you as much as you hearts us*

Oh btw someone called the office the other day and I happened to be there, so I answered it, and it was some fan living in Setapak keen in getting the box set... mmm... I think... Unfortch... It's SOLD OUT. kekekekeke... but I heard that it's still selling in Singapore tho...

... sorry have like no time or energy to put pictures here. infact i started writting this post on saturday... and yiks until now i've not posted it. tsk tsk.

thou it's an OFFICIAL yes, we'll only be able to start shoot early next year.

we basically need time to prepare things...

OH i saw Fiq (Anding AF2, the guy who played Sarah's boyfriend) he's doing good, i think he's going to be a host to some kids programme... J is busy ~~slaving~~ working with KRU... a tribute to the shoes involved

today i was busy packing, clearing everything in the house and halls. and while i was doing that... i decided... i shall blog about the shoes that played an important role in g&g. ;o) *no i actually just want to show them off* haha.
what... most of these shoes are specially designed and MADE by a dear friend of mine ma. miss wong dyi yee. she made them like... in super short notice... so i must show off! hahahaha... no no this aren't korea or hong kong shoes ah... no no not from china... tapi... dari MALAYSIA.

the legendary heels of gol & gincu. i brought them back for the season finale.

ta da. the billboard's heels. without them... that billboard is just a plain joe and jane billboard. HOHO.

melissa hated this. faz love them. *and faz hated her billboard heels, while melissa loved them*

mell's other shoe.

this was made for the camping scene. since putri don't know she is actually going for a camping trip. a flat heels that's casual yet sporty was designed. but it was too big. thus the pink slippers.

ms amani was suppose to wear this for the finale. but she was busy. thank heavens zarina forgotten to bring heels that day. she saved mr bunny and ms bunny from staying behind. they we busy bouncing that night. ;o) cute kan!

woot. i love this heels... there's 2 ways to wear them... observe the shoe whore's demo...

this cost the most ah... with all those studs and that super rare purple leather. aiyo. and sazzy almost didn't wanna wear them in the finale... slap slap. hahaha.

i even had to customize haikal's red heels. since his shoe size is... unavailable in the shoe industry... the size? let's just say it's BIG. and you know what they say men with a big ~~heels~~ foot.

thou we had loads of shoes some came from fazura, and all those high high wedges are sazzy's own.
i eventually gave putri more flats for 2 reason.
the first, wearing flats show a development in her character. that putri is no longer the girly girl or the cliche dumb blonde who's just stuck with one fetish in life. *if you watched the movie she's always with heels, even while playing futsal... she's with heels... HAHA*
second... someone complained that putri looks too tall when she stands next to her. i shall not name that someone. but that someone will kill me soon. hahahahahahahaha

if you must know. there were plenty of times when we all wanted to quit this production because it was just too much work. *not to mention last mintue scripts, last minute schedules, etc* we shot everyday, like mad and hectic. most of us, we had no contract to say we HAVE to continue shooting. even some of the cast wanted to like... just KILL my role, i'm done with playing *name of role*!!! but it was because of YOU, your continous support, and articles that we read on the media that gave us strength to continue this production.

it's not that i'm not keen in updating this blog or decided to go on a strike for the credit reason. but i couldn't get the ideal visuals i wanted to put here today for the super spoiler of the week. i'll get the ASAP.

today the jail scence is finally here. GO WATCH it. but we had to sensor a lot of scenes. like a lot. *but don't worry those are the visuals i'll put up here as soon i get my hands on them*

we initially had 'kambings' but then we had to take them out cuz the police department said no out of a sudden even after they approved the scritp *to their defence, they said they had no time to read the script, just approved it for the sake of LOVING us too much, but in the end they decided, they don't LOVE us that much afterall*

and today. the one MAJOR SECRET revails. it's kinna weird but, i guess i'll shut up for now.

gosh. the final episode is catching up soon. this is like what episode 10 already. le sigh.

so the moment is here... i finally have some spare time to kill... i present to you... Gol & Gincu's blog... the very first... video uploads... ;o)

while in the making of the fight scenes... after editing certain angles are like... missing... so catch them if you can... eg... ayu was wearing her bag... her glasses etc... but then you couldn't see it... le sigh... and since this was sorta the official VIRGIN video... everyone didn't know i was taking video and posted... which was like... hahahahahaha... too bad you couldn't see all the naughty videos we all made for fun... hehehehe. *i took out the top video, we made too many NAUGHTY scenes, like ops i forgotten we are afterall in malaysia*

CAT FIGHT. we shot this 3am in the morning... can you imagine that? we started shooting since 4pm till 8am that very day. *but of cuz as usual... i would be sleeping on set while they are busy... ;o) what so sue me*

i got bored in the end... and decided to snap my clean new slippers *which are now... black and grosses... and torn and worn*

since the top video was taken out... i decided to spend another 15 mintues finding and hunting another video to post... so here you go... the girls' camping trip...

yes they really did have loads of fun *we hiked all the way up via a horrifying steep stairs... it was way worst then batu caves... trust me* and i forgotten some items... resulting i had to RUN down and UP twice to get them... i was like exhausted that day!

putri comes home after sending jiji kan... but she got into an accident. rescued by marwan. putri is send home by marwan because her hand was injured. then she intro him to datin aina, her mother. and asked her if she could help. she was FORCED into helping [putri went and get drinks, while she was doing that marwan treaten aina into doing so, cuz... see episode 10? for the reason why] then we see putri at college for her evening class... ya... that's why baju conti... but she was late la... and she saw shasha looking up sad etc. and asked to pinjam notes la. then hor *goodness i sound like an aunty tell a boring story... next time please record ok? or go buy the dvd available next year... ermmm... if they don't wanna sell... they come find for me at jalan sungai cetak rompak somewhere in this world... LOL*

she asked what's that stupid but beautiful paper angie choo made... then shasha asked putri not to keapoh. cut to next day. she is having a date with reza. reza lectures putri not to sibuk other people's business... if it's your hal would you like it to be talked about. putri said FINE i said you're right mr something... cannot remember la. ;o) *look i'm trying!!!* then she bought him a guitar... but it's hers... only thing he simpan... and has to ajar her... erm then... let me watch again... then cuts to sportsplanet zie and shasha talks about the issue shasha is facing. blah blah blah. wawa and someone... *so sue me i don't remember well lately* throws shasha out of ballbuster. *actually i think i cut some scenes* BTB invites shasha to join them officially.

THE DRAMA begins. haikal comes and attacsk/assults zie. reza manage to stop them. well not much work is done to stop him, but he does stop. LOL. zie goes back to penang to chill down. sees FISH *ikan, did you know when que haidar was young, ikan was infact his real nick name?* they chit chat about pass life, zie saw a pic [ikan basically tells zie this abang saved him from drugs but he cannot be saved].

CUT. next scene zie asks/confronts reza about his past life, asking him to tell putri his past life. [it's late and i have work to do!!!] meanwhile somewhere in between putri helps shasha find out who's putting all that stupid but beautiful paper angie choo made... [for those who don't know who angie choo is... she did props from g&g and now she's busy with 3R] anyways they found out it's wawa and blah blah. apparently wawa and some guy has S*X in the college, kena buang etc.

then blah blah blah... reza announces to putri he has HIV +...
enough? NO??? well live with it... i had enough... LOL

i've been/am sick. high fever. so i didn't felt like posting. *and for a fact i wanted to see if anyone misses new posts... unfortch not...* so i've been super grumpy... ANNOYED... until at one time... stuffed sazzy's mouth with tissues cause she was ranting how much gorgeous i am compared to her... *what nonsense and rumours and SCANDAL!!!* but the sick part is so true...

oh goodness... nick for once decided he wanted more attention than usual... so he was trying his way with the camera... but thank heavens for keong... he moved the framing... far... well not far enough... but good to keep nick out of sight...

and what keong wanted was the girls in frame...

we were shooting at this very doggy ghetto... like... super dark and scary... very scary... oh and super dusty...

somehow J & Ling seem to enjoy the venue...

J was even happily pole/rope dancing... *actually i forced her into it... otherwise i'll make her wear bikini the next time*

this is what mona feeds us occasionally whenever she's out of budget... left over food/rice from her last night's buffet session... she conveniently makes raymond the art director to bring a microwave oven on set to be KIND AND NICE enough to heat up the food/rice for us... the sad crew... le sigh...

and that scary dusty place is known as paul's place... for those of you who don't know... paul's place was raided early this year due to some super nonsense... devil worshipping related... why? cause everyone was wearing black... *those who were nearby were also arrested that night, even if you were at a mamak FARby YOU will be arrested if you are in black* music was heavy metal i think... and blah blah blah... loads of drama... too bad i can't find the article to show you... it was just a total nonsense raid if you ask me... cause for a fact it was just an underground gig going on at the right place but wrong time. that's it.

scorpio_mmiv : yes there are plans to air gol & gincu the series in indonesia and singapore. but this is a hear hear only la. where else the movie has already been shown in singapore via suria, one of their malay channels like our astro ria. and i heard they were showing the movie recently in indonesia. *yes recently... how slow... haha* so if there's a good reception to it they'll air the series la... *you know... nicholas saputra was suppose to be in our movie but his schedule was so tight... tak jadi... le sigh... which role? well we killed that role... and a lot more others... HA.HA*

wasn't on shoot this pass few days. had to prep for the finale... gosh so sad i'm doing the end of season 1. can i say we have season 2? DO WE HAVE YOUR SUPPORT? i hope so otherwise i'll be jobless for a while... LOL... anyways yesterday *well it's already 0026, and here i am reporting at this wee hour when i've a shoot in less than 8 hours* we had a G&G Futsal Challenge held at sports unlimited... many thanks to the press who attended this HOT and i mean hot hot event... for those of you who don't know or didn't get the chance to drop by, it's an all friendly match organized by 8tv naturally, between 8tv, HotFM, 100plus, EMI and G&G. some of the cast didn't turned up, cuz they had other shoots to attend too.

the 3R girls were at some state i have no idea where in some camping trip for 3R... kempen confident?
sazzy was caught in a photo shoot for some dumb magazine. yes dumb. who ask them to hire morons making a huge delay for the photo shoot thus us not having sazzy for our dear fans and press... like whatever kan. LOL.
zarina was busy doing promo for her album... she's so stressed up... and super busy...
fazura was late cuz we/she had a shoot earlier for G&G episode 10. it's so bizarre this episode MUST watch!
mell does not play futsal, she was busy anyways with another t.v. series.

well since today is an off day. there's no shoot or much work to do but return and send wardrobe out for laundry, i had some extra time to set up this blog site and also a frienster account for fans to add... www.friendster.com/golgincu. add if you want too. it's totally going to be for fun la that friendster thingy.

anyhows... like i said today's an off day so i decided to just post something from the past... and it's just a simple picture, a door gift actually that 8tv prepared for us *i think it was for the press and media who attended the press conferences last month* there's also a phone strap and a phone sock... but i am too lazy to snap a pic of it... let me REST! i might put it on one fine day that strap thingy is just too cute not to show off... LOL... *why am i crappying so much... the photo is still not loaded that's why so i'm just basically killing time*
